Kiti HEPP

Project Detail

Kiti HEPP Project was built between 1961 and 1965 by EUAS. It is a facility that has been in operation since 1966. Water resources of this facility is Aras River which is transferred by Serdarabat Weir to West and East Iğdır Main Channel

Irrigation channels that have been in operation since 1966 are timeworn and need renovation. With this renovation, West Iğdır Irrigation Channel capacity will be increased to 65 m3/s and also installed power will be upgraded.
